Getting started
Installation
Install Pocketto for Pi or Claude Code from one local-first Core, set up the required Pi extensions, and verify the install with doctor.
Pocketto ships for two hosts from one local-first Core. Pick the tab for yours.
Install the package from Git or npm:
pi install git:github.com/rfxlamia/pocketto
# or
pi install npm:pocketto-piThen pull in the required extensions:
npx pocketto-pi setup-extensions
npx pocketto-pi setup-extensions --recommended
npx pocketto-pi doctorWhat gets installed
- The 15 skills: six pipeline stages and nine standalone skills, installed per host.
- The
pocketto-piCLI: used by the skills throughnpx -y pocketto-pi …. It requires Node.js ≥ 18. You can also run it yourself; see the CLI reference. - On Pi: the extension packages that provide advisor (review gates), context7 (library docs), and subagents (delegation). On Claude Code these capabilities come from the host.
Enterprise is not installed by either path above. It is a separate, explicit opt-in: see Enterprise setup.
Verify
- Start your agent and ask "what is pocket": the
pocket-helprouter should answer and point you at the right skill. - On Pi, run
npx pocketto-pi doctor [--strict].--strictexits non-zero when a required extension is missing. - Check the CLI:
npx -y pocketto-pi --versionprints the version and contract.
Next steps
